Irene Cook and Alice Jensen met way back in 1918. The year that they met, Congress was working on an amendment that would give women the right to vote and World War I was in full swing. Safe to say the world has changed pretty drastically since then.

It’s absolutely hilarious to hear these best friends of 94 years give their opinions on pop-culture. When you take away the distractions we face day to day, it’s easy to see we’re not all that different after all.

Here’s our takeaway: Spend the time you have in this life with the people you love. Even when you’ve reached the ripe ‘ol age of 100, you’ll find the same joy that Irene and Alice share.
