Ra Paulette’s work can be found in the sandstone hills of northern New Mexico and he calls it “the cave effect.”
The most surprising thing about this artist? Paulette never went to architecture school, never took sculpting classes, and never studied engineering at school. It’s a passion he’s been working at for 25 years, and he’s amazing at it.
Ra Paulette considers himself a magician – playing with space both big and small. To the outsider, he might look “obsessed,” but he questions if it’s really an obsession if it’s just what you enjoy. It makes sense that people would just want to do what they love, and lucky for us, what Paulette loves is bringing beauty to the world!
