Wedding Bouncy Castles Are The Latest Trend Couples Are Jumping On

I’ve been to a million weddings this year, but I have never seen a bounce house before. As it turns out, couples are booking custom bouncy castles for adults. With couples looking for new and unique ways to entertain their guests, this trend is totally ‘Instagramable”.

It all began when a company in the UK named Mr. Bouncy Castle thought it would be a better idea to create white bounce houses vs the traditional multicolored ones. According to the Huffington Post, the internet saw them and took over.

Tom Robinson, the owner of the company, told HuffPost, “The idea came from a wedding planner who asked if I had a white bouncy castle. At the time there were none available to buy so I had one made. I quickly discovered that it was very difficult to keep them clean and had to increase the hire price significantly.”

He added, “But the rise in price did not temper demand.” Business is booming as more people continue to rent them in advance. Tor Cox and her then-fiance Duncan wanted to have a bounce house at their wedding because it was something they hadn’t seen before.

“It brought a new level of fun to the day. We only had four children there on the day, so this really was mainly for adult entertainment, which made it even better.”

Of course, with some drinks and a giant white bounce house design for adults, things are bound to go wrong. “One of our bridesmaids did fall victim to the excitement of the bouncing and ripped her dress, but thankfully the girls managed to keep this a secret until after.”

Wedding bouncy castle go for $360 for a day, with an increase in the prices if the venue requires a staff member to supervise or if they add a generator rental to the package.
