Most of us have dealt with unsightly hard water stains around sinks and tubs. If you’ve tried everything you can think of, and still don’t have a solution, never fear! Crouton Crackerjacks discovered this amazing trick and they have gracefully passed it on. It just takes one simple ingredient and you’ll be amazing at the results.
Grab a bottle of white distilled vinegar, a bucket, a sponge, and a rag. White vinegar is an amazing cleaning agent, and it’s all-natural and eco-friendly, unlike a lot of harsh cleaning chemicals you can buy in stores. Plus, it’s cheap and you can use it for all sorts of things around the house!
To remove hard water stains, simply submerge the rag in a bucket of vinegar. Then, wrap it around the sink or area with the stain. For best results, keep the rag on the stained area for at least an hour.
After an hour, remove the rag and use a sponge to scrub off any remaining water stain. Repeat this process as necessary around the sink and other areas that have water stains. You may need to leave the rag on for more than an hour if the stain is hard to remove.
Another important thing to note is that the sink should be completely dry before starting this cleaning process. That ensures the vinegar will work at full strength and not be diluted by water.
