Krispy Kreme Is Giving Healthcare Workers Free Donuts Every Monday

Our healthcare workers are currently the unsung heroes of the global coronavirus pandemic. We really owe them so much. So, in a demonstration of gratitude and appreciation to all medical personnel during the current outbreak, Krispy Kreme has chosen to provide healthcare workers with free dozens of donuts every Monday for the coming two months.

The show of appreciation will begin this Monday, March 30th, which also happens to be National Doctors’ Day, and it will continue every Monday through National Nurses Week, which is the 6th through the 12th of May. During this time, Krispy Kreme will provide all healthcare workers with free dozens of their Original Glazed Doughnuts. All someone has to do to claim them is show up at the drive-thru with their medical badge, and then they will get however many dozens of donuts they’d like, and they’re all free of charge.

Due to the pandemic, some Krispy Kreme shops have had to adjust their business hours, however, most are still running as usual and offering pick-up, to-go, and, occasionally, a delivery option for their orders. It is advised that before you head over to your local Krispy Kreme that you call ahead and check what protocols they have in place.

Besides offering this special offer to medical workers, Krispy Kreme has a special “Be Sweet Dozen” free offer for all customers to participate in. Beginning this Saturday, anyone can purchase a dozen or more full-price Original Glazed Donuts, and Krispy Kreme will provide you with an additional dozen for free.

The special dozen includes a special Smiley Face donut and they will all be securely sealed and bagged individually. This special Smiley Face donut comes with a strict set of instructions, which include social distancing and safety guidelines, for contactless drop-off of the donut.

The donut is meant to be given to a family member or a neighbor – basically someone special – with whom you may not be able to interact with in-person at the moment because they’re considered high-risk. This wonderful donut offer is available through pick-up, delivery, and drive-thru.

It’s a really sweet idea because in the current madness of our world, we definitely should not forget about kindness.
