Love High-End Decor, But Don’t Love The Price Tag? Here’s How To Fake It!

Who doesn’t love high-end designs and decor? We definitely love the look, but the price tag? Not so much. Whether you’re redoing your kitchen or looking for some cute accents for your side table, these sorts of projects always end up being more expensive than you think! However, we found some nifty hacks using $0.13 tiles and some supplies from the dollar store! Check out some of the projects below and get inspired to try these high-end decor hacks!

Photo Transfer

This is such a cool project, and a great way to have a personalized touch to your decor. Simply print off your photo, paing a layer of Mod Podge on the tile, press your photo face down, and rub the back of the paper off of the tile with a washcloth and warm water.

Designer Tiles

This is one of our favorite hacks, because the tiles can be used to create such a fun texture in any room! They would be great as a backsplash in the kitchen, or adding a line around regular white tiles for an added flare. It’s as easy as stenciling a pattern with chalk paint!

Patterned Tiles

This hack is another great one for when you want some accents around the house. They can be used as backsplash as well, or as coasters. Grab some napkins or scrapbook paper and secure to the tile with Mod Podge. Then press the paper to the tile and add another layer of Mod Podge to seal it all up!
