Lots of Antiques and Unique Finds Went into This Dream Tree House with Victorian Flair

Of all the wonderful things about being a kid, having access to a playhouse in the back yard has always been one of the most fun things- if you were lucky enough to have had this experience. Even a humble “secret hideout” made from fruit crates or tarps and other scrap items felt really special. But, the grandest thing of all was the illustrious (and slightly dangerous) treehouse. It was the gold standard of child-sized structures. And, one fun-loving set of grandparents, the Wakefields, in Dallas, Texas, set about creating the most fabulous treehouse for their grandkids.

The house features a tiny music area, a faux fireplace, a reading nook, a covered slide, and even a zip line! The inside of the house is filled with tiny sentimental artifacts from Jeri Wakefield, along with quirky thrift store and curbside finds that lend the place a one-of-a-kind style of decor and overall feeling. Just imagine being able to offer this to your grandchildren! Have a closer look at this magnificent treehouse in the video below.
