Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce

Thanks to its delicious chicken and waffle fries, Chick-Fil-A has achieved somewhat of a fast-food cult following, but if you’re asking me, their signature sauce is the thing worth fawning over. Its sweet and somewhat tangy flavor tastes unlike any other fast food sauce out there, but it turns out to be incredibly easy to make at home! Just stir together a few pantry ingredients and you can have it anytime, on anything.

When I first tasted Chick-Fil-A sauce, my first thought was “This stuff is amazing!” It’s creamy and sweet and tangy… My second was, “What is in this?!” I couldn’t immediately identify what the ingredients were, but some help from the ingredient list on the sauce packet set me on my way. It’s really just a mixture of a handful of condiments and sauces.

Mayo lends the creaminess, while honey and barbecue sauce sweeten things up, and lemon juice and mustard balance things out with a bit of tang.

The beauty of this simple sauce is all in its unique balance of flavors and all you have to do to get it is stir those five things together. Chill it and get to dipping!
