Sometimes certain rooms in the house can just smell… funky. This is especially true during the winter months when you’re less likely to have the windows open – which can go a long way for airing things out and getting rid of funky smells. If you’re not a huge fan of overly perfumey air fresheners that just seem to mask the scent with another overpowering scent, try adding a dab of Vicks to a humidifier and letting it run for a few hours. You’ll be amazed at how this little trick makes the room smell so fresh and clean!
At some point, we’ve all struggled with dry, cracked heels. Sometimes it goes away on its own, but sometimes it just gets more painful! Instead of spending lots of money on expensive creams, just apply a thin layer of Vicks to your heels and cover up with a pair of socks. Leave the socks on overnight. Wash your feet off in the morning and remove any dead skin cells with a pumice stone. Repeat daily until your feet are nice and smooth!
