Improves Kidney Health
We’ve already established that bananas are a great source of potassium, which helps with heart health. It turns out that potassium is great for kidney health too! One study conducted over a thirteen-year span showed that women who ate 2-3 bananas a week were 33% less likely to develop kidney disease. Another study found that those who ate bananas 4-6 times a week were almost 50% less likely to develop kidney disease, compared to those who didn’t eat bananas.
